Movement
As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200 hours with the Yoga Alliance (CA), she enters the Yoga industry with self-confidence, motivation, and drive. With a strong work ethic, she has a Meditation certificate and specialized training as a Restorative Yoga Teacher, Yin Yoga Teacher, Chair Yoga Teacher, and Ayurveda Specialist while also having a foundation in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, and Kids Yoga. As a dance and creative movement teacher, she is certified as a Sugar Foot Therapy instructor, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor, Progressing Contemporary Technique (PCT) instructor and has her Cecchetti Ballet Council of America Level 1 Certification. Morgan has earned a brown belt with a black stripe with bow training and served as a Kohai mentor in Karate, and has taken Judo. She uses the martial arts framework in her dance and yoga movement as both fields are aimed at maintaining a sense of balance, managing stress, executing self-awareness, and reaching mental clarity. With boundless energy, Morgan’s athletic spirit can be seen in her transformative Dance and Yoga instruction which is rooted in her broad kinesthetic talents including therapeutic movement, gyrokinesis, pilates, martial arts, gymnastics, and aquatics which serve as a steady influence in her Dance and Yoga sequencing. This animated powerhouse loves to create customized hybrid Dance and Yoga lessons that revolutionize standard fitness poses into creative sequences. As a versatile instructor, she is dedicated to educating and inspiring others with Dance and Yoga classes on land or in the water, indoors or outdoors. With a nurturing personality and patient temperament, her classes are perfectly designed for any age group or ability level. She is willing to do movement work in any arena including fitness centers, schools, studios, health care facilities, corporations, industry events, and private parties. She is a compassionate instructor and choreographer who has experience offering gentle low impact exercises and creative movement tasks to limited mobility seniors with neurological challenges. She has taught adaptive therapeutic movements for people with disabilities on land and in the water. Her aquatic dance fitness and water aerobics background incorporates exercise focused on calisthenics to achieve increased strength, mobility, endurance, and flexibility.
Fitness Safety
Safety is always on Morgan’s mind in every Dance and Yoga class. Equipped with a history of working in safety supervision, she has been a professional lifeguard, water safety instructor, kids fitness instructor, youth camp counselor, dance instructor, and resident assistant earning certifications from the American Red Cross, YMCA, American Safety & Health Institute, and U.S. Masters Swimming. She has certifications in CPR, Basic Life Support, First Aid, AED, Oxygen Administration, and Babysitting. She has completed training in Darkness to Light Child Abuse Prevention and the Principles of Youth Development. Morgan is a colorful and bright individual that lets her love for dance and creative movement soar with her willingness to learn and grow as a future industry arts leader and advocate.
